An important issue of the project was involvement of the local authorities. The heat recovery ventilation system is not the only activity in the school. The teachers and schoolchildren had special lessons devoted to renewable energy resources, energy efficiency and possibility of energy saving activity at the schools and at the homes and apartments.

NECA has developed a special web site www.gimnazjum.nape.pl on which the teachers and schools pupil can find all the information concerning energy; from energy sources, through electricity and heat production, to the end use, with information about environmental impact. There is information about renewable resources such as domestic potential, technologies, and impact on the environment. The user can also find the information about the legal regulation in Poland.

To make the web site even more interesting, there is also a computer game, which allow estimating how much energy do the player use at their life (home, school, transport, free time) and what is the impact of that consumption on the environment.
