The height of the building was increased and ventilation openings were fitted on the sidewalls just below the roof in order to favour natural draft ventilation. This resulted to increase the total height of the building (from the floor to the roof) to 8 meters. Through the 3 entrance gates and the openings of the ground floor enter the air flows and then they direct above to find their way out through an array of openings below the roof that runs the building circumferentially. In periods with high outer temperature and relatively small air flows, simple fans (MIDEA fun, POWER 82W) are additionally used to improve the inner microclimate of the building.
