The orientation of the roof was adjusted so that to maximize direct incident solar radiation in order to host photovoltaic panels. The metallic framework of the roof is oriented with an angle of gradient 30o to the North-South direction and this was chosen in order to amend the northeast-southwest orientation of the initial building. The roof is covered by insulating panels, CONTI style. The supporting metallic framework of the photovoltaic panels has been placed, but we have not proceeded to the purchase of the photovoltaic panels yet, due to high cost. The installation of the photovoltaic panels is among the priorities of DEMEKAV and to this perspective will result positively the anodic course of the common energy products’ prices.
