This project presents an advanced façade design based on glass extension modules for utilizing solar energy. The components are highly flexible and can be used for a wide range of different building types.

The example demonstrates how solar cells in a combination with solar cells can be fitted in to bay windows or balconies. The technology itself saves the residents approx. € 160 per year in energy costs.

The project succeeded in satisfying three criteria: for the solution to be aesthetically pleasing, easy to install and financially viable.
