European Green Cities:
The project involves 11 low energy demonstration projects in 9 EU countries (Austria,
Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom)
with a total of 645 dwellings involved.
Green Housing Block:
The Green Housing Block project is dealing with local demonstration of best
available solar low-energy technologies in L'Isle d'Abeau (F) and in Portsmouth
(UK). The project is realised in connection with the "European Green Cities"
co-operation.
Green Solar Regions:
The main idea is to present a project where city authorities, builders and
energy specialists from the Copenhagen region (DK) are working with similar
people from Piemonte (I) and the Warsaw region (PL) to obtain an opportunity of
having optimised solar designs and new developed solar assisted low electricity
ventilation technologies with a very low electricity consumption demonstrated in
practice.
European Green Cities Network:
European Green Cities Network is a thematic network under the EU 5th framework
programme. The network disseminates knowledge and experience regarding
sustainable urban housing technologies with the purpose to stimulate market
development and help speed up innovation.
