Project “Green City Building” carry out development work, training, and capacity building to prepare our network of the six local authorities from Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Poland to implement urban management systems that will ensure a more sustainable urban building process to match the new EPD directive efficiently.

Representing both Western, Northern, Southern and Eastern European countries in this project partner network is a good basis for common exchange of experiences, analysing and developing management systems and local Green Build strategies to meet the need for improvements especially in Eastern Europe.

Based on previous developing of Green Build tools and local authority training and capacity building etc. we have in this project combined technical tools and local authority working praxis to reach following project outputs:

• Developed local strategies for sustainable building.
   
• Prepared local Green City Action Plans ready for subsequent possible implementation.
   
• A selected group of local building and energy supply sector key persons being trained and exchanging experiences with similar groups from the other partner cities.
   
• Developed a common Green City Building authority management system.
   
• Developed a manual for Green City Building process in urban new-build or renovation.
